The role
We’re seeking a Mechanical Engineer to help drive the development of our electric
motorcycles. In this role, you’ll be defining, designing, testing and optimizing
components and the vehicle as a whole. The role requires practical action and a
theoretical background, with a hands-on involvement throughout the product
development cycle, from concept to production.
What you’ll do
- Develop and engineer critical motorcycle systems such as the chassis,
powertrain housing, battery system and cooling system. - Perform structural and thermal analysis to evaluate components under realworld stresses and operating conditions.
- Collaborate with the prototyping team to build and test mechanical
components. Analyze performance data, identify issues, and iterate designs. - Work closely with electrical and software teams to ensure that mechanical
designs integrate smoothly with the battery, motor, and electronics systems. - Apply design-for-manufacturing (DFM) and design-for-assembly (DFA)
principles to improve production efficiency and component quality.
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of experience, ideally in the motorcycle, bicycle, or automotive
industries. - Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks or similar)
- Experience in FEA and/or CFD is a plus
- Familiarity with suspension systems, frame/chassis design, or vehicle
packaging. - Understanding of material properties and manufacturing techniques
