FLUX PERFORMANCE AND AVNET SILICA TO START STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP

Flux Performance, the Slovenian technology leader in the electric motorcycle space, is excited to announce a strategic collaboration with Avnet Silica, a European leading semiconductor distributor. This partnership will enhance Flux’s electric motorcycle technology by leveraging Avnet Silica’s expertise in electronic components and supply chain solutions.

“We are delighted to collaborate with Flux Performance, supporting their journey to the top of the electric motorcycle industry. Our expertise in engineering and supply chain management will provide Flux with the critical support needed to accelerate their product development and maintain leadership in the electric motorcycle sector,” said Thomas Hauer, Avnet Silica’s Technology Specialist Manager Power for EMEA.

Flux and Avnet Silica will focus on working with leading semiconductor companies to access and utilize the latest technology, integrating best practices from the automotive industry. Avnet Silica will offer insights into stable component production, global trends, and technology roadmaps. Flux’s vertically integrated hardware and software development allows for rapid adaptation to technological changes, ensuring top performance and scalability. One of the upcoming projects includes the joint design of power and control electronics for the Flux production bike.

The collaboration is built on the complementary strengths of both companies. Avnet Silica’s extensive experience in the semiconductor industry aligns perfectly with Flux’s innovative approach to electric motorcycles, pushing the boundaries of performance and validating components under the toughest conditions. Avnet Silica’s expertise provides Flux with a significant boost in design and manufacturing efficiency, reducing time to market. Preliminary technical discussions between Flux and Avnet Silica strengthened by mutual interests, have highlighted these synergies.

Marko Ukota, CEO of Flux Performance, stated, “Avnet Silica is leading in the semiconductor industry, and we are flattered to call them our partner. Tapping into their supply chains ensures we’ll always be at the forefront of EV technology and have the support to scale rapidly. We all remember the part shortages experienced in the EV supply chains not long ago. We want to be in the group of outliers that can anticipate and adapt quickly, which requires an in-house, vertically integrated R&D and a quality partner. I’m convinced Avnet Silica is that partner.”

This collaboration is expected to bring significant benefits to both companies. Flux gains stable supply chains, access to the best technology, and competitive pricing, while Avnet Silica acquires a new customer and explores a new frontier in the electric motorcycle industry. The partnership aims to continue growing, with potential expansions into other projects and areas.

ALTA MOTORS FOUNDER MARC FENIGSTEIN JOINS FLUX MOTORCYCLES

Alta Motors founder Marc Fenigstein joins Flux motorcycles

Flux Performance, the Slovenian technology leader in the electric motorcycle space, proudly announces the addition of Marc Fenigstein, co-founder and former CEO of Alta Motors, to its advisory board and as an investor. With a legacy of pioneering competitive electric motocross bikes, Marc’s involvement signals a significant step forward in Flux’s mission to lead the electric motorcycle market.

Marko Ukota, CEO of Flux Performance, commented: “It’s amazing to get to meet your heroes, even more so for them to join your effort. Marc and Alta were the first to imagine and mass-produce a competitive eMX bike. What’s most impressive is how reliable those bikes are; still going strong after all these years, that’s incredibly hard. Marc has been on this journey before, having his experience on hand is massive for us to build Flux as the next big step in the story of electric motorcycles.”

Marc Fenigstein stated: “Since the sale of Alta in 2019, I have met with, reviewed, or been pitched by at least a dozen aspiring EV startups. It wasn’t until I met the Flux team that I recognized an operation that could pick up where Alta left off and push the motorcycle market to its obvious next stage of electric dominance, while upholding necessary standards of quality, reliability, and integrity. I’m incredibly excited to join the advisory board at Flux, and invest my time and money into them. What they have in the works is just mind-blowing.”

This announcement marks the second major addition to the Flux Performance team in a week’s time. Alongside Marc Fenigstein, Flux has also welcomed Karl Ytterborn, former Chief Marketing Officer and co-founder of CAKE electric motorcycles, as CMO.

“Building up the strongest team and best competencies with experience from leading electric mobility brands like Alta and CAKE is critical for the global launch of Flux and our rapid expansion. With Marc and Karl, we are positioning ourselves to lead the electric motorcycle market with an incredible product backed by the right individuals, we’re just getting started.” – Ukota added.
