Electric Motorcycle Development

Location: Sežana, Slovenija or partially remote

Who we are

At Flux Performance we build electric motorcycles that push the limits of technology,
performance, and sustainability. Our roots are grounded in innovation and racing,
driven by a passion to design motorcycles that excite, inspire, and deliver next-level
performance. We’re a tight-knit team, unburdened by corporate structures, where
creativity, speed, and collaboration thrive. We take big ideas from concept to reality—
always aiming to set new benchmarks in motorcycles.
If you’re excited about shaping the future of 2-wheels and working on cutting-edge
technology, we’d love to have you on board.

The role

We’re seeking a Mechanical Engineer to help drive the development of our electric
motorcycles. In this role, you’ll be defining, designing, testing and optimizing
components and the vehicle as a whole. The role requires practical action and a
theoretical background, with a hands-on involvement throughout the product
development cycle, from concept to production.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and engineer critical motorcycle systems such as the chassis,
powertrain housing, battery system and cooling system.
  • Perform structural and thermal analysis to evaluate components under realworld stresses and operating conditions.
  • Collaborate with the prototyping team to build and test mechanical
components. Analyze performance data, identify issues, and iterate designs.
  •  Work closely with electrical and software teams to ensure that mechanical
designs integrate smoothly with the battery, motor, and electronics systems.
  • Apply design-for-manufacturing (DFM) and design-for-assembly (DFA)
principles to improve production efficiency and component quality.

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience, ideally in the motorcycle, bicycle, or automotive
    industries.
  • Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks or similar)
  • Experience in FEA and/or CFD is a plus
  • Familiarity with suspension systems, frame/chassis design, or vehicle
    packaging.
  • Understanding of material properties and manufacturing techniques

Why Join Us?

  • Work on cutting-edge electric motorcycles that challenge industry norms.
  • Be part of a collaborative, fast-moving startup culture where your ideas have
    an impact.
  • No corporate red tape—just a dynamic environment focused on innovation
    and getting things done.
  • Competitive salary, benefits, and the chance to shape the future of mobility.
