Tell us about yourself.
I’ve spent over 15 years racing supermoto and worked as an engineer. I know the frustrations, noise restrictions shutting down tracks, endless maintenance and gas bikes that break down more often than they should. I’ve also lived the excitement of chasing performance and that’s what drives me: to build motorcycles that don’t just meet expectations but crush them.
Why did you start Flux?
When I met my co-founders and we started putting numbers on paper. I knew then that electric will beat gas and I had to be at the forefront of this disruption. With the right technology, there’s no trade-off anymore. Electric is faster, easier and smarter. But the motorcycle industry is full of overpromises, fake range numbers, best-case lab simulations, marketing spin. We’re the opposite. We’re building specs so good that we can be 100% honest. No BS. What we test in the real world is what the rider gets.
What are you most proud of?
The team. At Flux, we’ve attracted talent who’s worked on everything from NASA awarded aerospace projects, engineers who’ve built championship-winning bikes, best in class communications and pioneered the electric dirtbike a decade ago. This is a world-class team united by one goal: to build the best (electric) motorcycles in the world. That’s why, in just a short time, we’ve already achieved a bike better than anything else.
What’s the opportunity you see?
It’s an industry full of compromises with limited real-world results. Efforts often led by designers and marketers that fall short in execution. Flux is different: our tech doesn’t aim to “catch up” with gas, it leaves it behind. Range, weight, performance, intelligence, we’re the first to combine them all in one package. The wave of electrification is coming to 2 wheels. Our goal is to be better in every measurable way.
What’s the roadmap in 2, 5, and 10 years?
- 2 years: The first benchmark will be set. Riders will see what electric is really capable of.
- 5 years: Expansion — not just more models, but more ways to experience performance on two wheels, more ways to move.
- 10 years: A new giant in light mobility. Flux won’t be “the electric alternative.” It will be the performance standard.
